Notebook Vendors Expect ODM Quotes To Drop
With notebook makers increasing their ODM quotes to reflect increasing costs, sources at notebook PC vendors think unless the makers reach an agreement over price, pricing competition should soon appear and that quotes will not stay high for long. Currently, notebook makers have already shifted a part of increased costs for raw materials to vendors, stated the sources.
