In this benchmark the Sony notebook edges ahead, except when the "maximum battery" setting is used. Memory and hard disk throughput is higher than that of the Evo N1015v.
Sysmark 2002: System Performance
The Sysmark 2002 application benchmark relates to overall system performance.

With a faster memory interface, a more powerful graphics solution, and a slightly faster hard disk, the PCG-NVR23 leaves the Evo N1015v behind in terms of performance. In the "maximum battery" setting, the slower CPU speed causes the memory performance to drop, which gives the Compaq the advantage. Nevertheless, the performance figures achieved - even under these conditions - are such that office applications will run with a good deal of speed.
