LED Makers Expect Revenue Increase In 2008
Although Taiwan-based LED makers such as Everlight Electronics, Lite-On Technology, Bright LED Electronics, and Unity Opto Technology all saw their revenues drop in December, but the makers’ annual revenues for 2007 were up 19-39%, and growth in 2008 is expected to reach 30-50%. Lite-On Technology was the top ranked Taiwan-based LED maker in 2007, as its related revenues increase 21% to $326 million.
