Far Cry

In terms of the potential quality of graphics, Far Cry is certainly one of the most advanced 3D shooters. The price to be paid for such quality, however, comes in terms of high demands placed on the processor and graphic card.

As was the case with Quake III, the disadvantage of Shared Memory Architecture in terms of available 3D performance is evident here. If it had been equipped with a dedicated graphics card, the nx6125 would have definitely been in the same class as the Dell PC.

Unreal Tournament 2004

Unreal Tournament 2004 is a popular 3D shooter that can be used to measure and compare system and graphics performance.

Once again, the results confirm that a system with an integrated graphics core is of limited use for playing 3D shooters under the right conditions.
