2. A Closer Look

The Neuros has a unique design with its detachable hard drive "Backpack". The small controller and much larger drive unit combine to form a functional player. Users can buy multiple drive units for more storage, or to create separate music libraries.

The whole unit is 135 x 79 x 33 mm (5.3 x 3.1 x 1.3 inches) and weighs 266 Gramm (9.4 ounces).

One concern is that when the controller is detached, you can easily see and even touch the docking pins. Does this mean bent pins are in your future? Perhaps if you kept the controller detached, but since the controller is useless by itself, that wouldn't make sense anyway.
