Google Goggles Can Do iPhone Searches For You
Search for what your phone can see.

When you want to learn more about something, the thing you do these days is that you "Google it" (or Bing it, or whichever-is-your-search-engine-of-choice it). But what do you do if you don't know what to search for in words?
Perhaps you see a very cool landmark or a type of flower that you've never seen before, or you don't know the name of. In such a case, search terms would be mostly unknown to you.
That's where Google Goggles comes in. It's been a feature of Android phones, but just because it's a Google service isn't going to stop the search giant from sharing the love with those on iPhones.
Google has updated its Google Mobile app for iPhone to now include Google Goggles functionality. It's still very much a beta product, but it could prove very useful for times when you're lost for words.

I don't see how it's misleading. It makes sense to me. I guess if you really don't like it, you can make your own website and write your own articles. Then you can name them whatever you want.
does anybody, besides microsoft employees, actually "bing it"?

I bin it because the g is stupid.
Goggles is a horrible app
Quickly! Toggle Google Goggles!
It's only a matter of time until you can take a picture of someone and find out all their online info.
does anybody, besides microsoft employees, actually "bing it"?
Yep, I do, cuz Google sucks. And I'm sure a lot of other people "bing it" too.
rofl..google sucks..is your opinion..everything is someone's opinion..no room to say such things
this app from google sucks...it has never worked for me. also the android os has so much bloatware...wtf?
the goggles, they do nothing
Uh, so the benefit of Google Goggles is to search for things you can't put into words. So why the hell are you taking pictures of words on a book cover or wine label? Or is this just a tool for the lazy?
Other than the first example (the building), all of those examples are worthless.
I thought this was out quite a while ago? I remember reading something about it at least half a year back.
Or maybe my memory is failing me already...
