14. Overall Benchmarks: PCMark 2004 And 3DMark 2005
PCMark 2004

It is interesting to see that the scores here were mixed. The Hypersonic only won the graphics score, while everything else went to the CyberPower system, especially the Hard Drive (HDD) section, due to the RAID 0 configuration.
3DMark 2005

Again, these two don't score as well as the previous Go 6800 we had, but they did better than some of the other mobile systems, and even the X800 desktop system.
Battery Life
A few things need to be taken into account when looking at battery life. The first aspect is what activity is taken while draining the battery, and the second is how well the application performs while in battery mode. We set up a system timer to count while 3DMark 2001 SE ran game benchmarks in an infinite loop, to answer the first question of how long the battery would last.

Since there isn't a great variation in the hardware it is not surprising that the Hypersonic lasted one minute longer than the CyberPower system.
Now to the matter of how well the system performed while the power levels were draining. Watching the frame rates during the test was the key to determining this, and at several points during the battery rundown we found that the FPS became a glorified slideshow. That not even a large percentage of the gameplay was impacted is a testament to how well-powered these systems are.
