10. Sound Graph IMon RF Solutions

One of the disadvantages of an infrared remote control is its requirement for a direct line of sight between sender and receiver. Most people encounter this requirement by accident, when something comes between them and their television sets. An obstruction makes pushing buttons merely a form of finger exercise, because nothing else will happen until the obstruction is cleared.

With radio frequency signals, however, the story is different. In fact, the Soundgraph iMon 2.4G products can cover distances up to nearly 100 feet (30 m) and don't require a direct line of sight. The USB (LT) version is a great choice for notebooks; the PCI version (DT) aims at stationary desktops or home entertainment PCs.
