The perfect way to keep your Bond Girl picture collection at hand

A pair of cufflinks that double as dual 2GB flash drives, for a total of 4GB? Perfect for Her Majesty's favorite spy. Ravi Rattan's designer cufflinks come in presumed-silver, gunmetal, and gold finishes. From appearances it does a great job of keeping your sleeves neat. The surprise is when you pull of one end to reveal a tiny USB flash drive.

Adding to this pair's style quotient is the option to have up to eight characters engraved on each cufflink. Rattan's creation should be perfect for businessmen who love their power suits (they go on the long-sleeved shirt underneath of course), a fact emphasized by the price. A pair of these cufflinks will set buyers back by $195, with an additional $8 per engraved character.

These designer cufflinks are genuinely useful, even for James Bond himself. The potential uses however aren't limited to world-saving scenarios. Imagine yourself in a meeting, walking up to the presentation PC and casually pulling out the flash drive from your wrist. Your audience will wonder where they can get their own cufflinks, as you make a show of plugging in the drive to access your PPT.

You'll have them eating out of your hand before you even begin. As the product page nonchalantly declares: "You're welcome".

4GB USB Flash Drive Cufflinks (Base Price: $195)

nahdoggFor that price shouldn't they be 16GB drives?
If it's real silver than why? It's a "fashio" thing, so it costs that much to say "I have it, you don't..". Just like buying Tiffany's rings instead of any other just because it says Tiffany's..

Knowing how caps don't like stay on these small USB drives, there's a reason why lanyards are attached to the storage and not the cap. For this price I sure hope the caps have a solid lock that won't wear out otherwise a simple swing of your arm and there goes 2 GB of data. I could see these being more useful if they were cheaper.

For that price they shouldn't even have bothered making them.

Yeah because the cost of manufacture of a 4GB to a 16GB flash drive is THAT much higher. They could've made the damn thing 16GB and kept the same price tag. It's not like they are going to be high sellers either way.

Very expensive but stylish nonetheless. However, 2x 2GB != 4GB, unless you like splitting your big files...

Pretty cool, and I would love to buy them.....but for a more reasonable price (say 50 bucks)...

Truth be told the buyers probably have no forking clue what a GB is... likely these will be bought by wifes/girlfriends of tech execs as gifts, to be used maybe once and then shelved.

Personally, if I had a pair, I would be guilty of singing the Bond "ba da dadaaaaaaa" jingle each time I used them, a sure fire way to annoy the sh*t out of my cube neighbors.

Clever trick: put split up truecrypt archives on them, with the key for each archive on the opposite cufflink. That way you get all your storage, and are only fscked if you lose both at the same time!

I store 4GB in my spy pen.

Now that is how Bond would do it.

If i had to wear my suit more, I would definitely have a pair. See it for what is, if you had to wear a suit with cuff links wouldn't you want something similar as opposed to just a piece of jewelry?

For $195, people buy it for looks and bragging rights, it could be 1GB or 32 GB, it won't affect the volume all that much because the potential buyers care little about the capacity between 2GB and 16Gb but more about the fact of having these on their sleeves. So same volume, lower cost wins, 2 GB it is.

Dreadfully sorry old chap, but this simply won't do. Neither Sir Roger nor myself would ever be seen giving a power point presentation with our sleeves flopping around in the wind.

I would buy them, but you can't wear cuff links with a tuxedo t-shirt.

Real spies would use a plain USB thumb drive that you have to open to access the second USB thumb drive stored inside of it.... Hidden in plain sight tends to work best. Like at a computer :)
