On The Graph And To The Ear

The response of the G500 was quite remarkable. Except for a resonance peak at 40 Hz - which was related to the room where our test was made - the results showed regularity we don't often see, and nearly perfect balance! If you analyze the response in the bass, you see that the system covered the useful range perfectly, probably with a high-pass filter at around 40 Hz, since the 30-Hz area is strongly attenuated. This is an intelligent choice, no doubt aimed at providing better power handling. We'll get back to that shortly.

Close to perfect! Aside from a few blips here and there, response was close to being as good as you'll find anywhere.

The entire bass range was covered with very good regularity. The sub-bass is attenuated for better power handling.
