3. Something For Everyone

The Rio range consists of four players. The high-end of the range is represented by the Karma with a 1.8" 20 GB hard drive. It is very compact for such a capacity. The same goes for the Nitrus with 1" Microdrive at 1.5 GB.

The Chiba is a flash memory player of 128 or 256 MB. With an unique and unusual form factor, Rio evidently preferred to focus on ergonomics for easy handling rather than miniaturization. Then there is the Cali, also a 128 or 256 MB flash memory player designed for use during sports activities.
