The VGA connector and two USB ports are located towards the back of the left-hand side of the case.

The front section is home to the audio jacks and the SD card slot.

A close call: the USB RF receiver for the wireless mouse and the DVD combination-drive occupy the two USB ports on the left-hand side of the S5200N.

The engineers at Asus reserved the case's right-hand side for the modem, Ethernet jack, two more USB 2.0 ports and one FireWire port. The single PC card slot is also on the right.
