5. A Camera That Fits The Hand

Careful Ergonomics

The shutter release and zoom wheel are combined to facilitate use. Next to them is the button that activates the image stabilizer. All the other buttons are located to the right of the LCD display and are easily accessible with your thumb. All this makes the camera easy to handle; the 6.2-oz weight, though, can be a little unsteadying.

User Comfort And Enjoyment

Legibility and brightness (adjustable) are the strong points of the 2.7" LCD display. It offers good viewing comfort, and by extension shooting comfort, given the importance of the display when using the camera. The Fujifilm F50fd also has very good responsiveness; it turns on instantaneously, and takes photos at a rate that’s quite fast. In general, the F50fd will be a good companion for you on a daily basis.
