Despite its nominally faster hard drive (average search time 12 ms) the 3150P is still not up to the competition, probably because the VIA chipset's IDE interface isn't as high a performer as its counterparts in the other machines.

Under the "Max battery" power scheme, the Averatec 3150P's lower CPU clock weighs it down in RAM and CPU performance.
