Funky Titanium Mouse Costs $1200
Funky titanium mouse looks more like a robotic claw.
There doesn't appear to be anything "mousy" about Intelligent Design's Titanium ID Mouse. If anything, the gadget looks more like a metallic claw ripped from an android's wrist than a wireless Bluetooth device. Yet upon close inspection, there are signs of a tiny mouse wheel and possible "buttons" that gives the Titanium ID Mouse more of a... well, mousy look.
According to the company, its $1200 handcrafted device is constructed of grade 1 titanium, high quality plastic resin, and features three buttons and a neodymium scroll wheel. The mouse relies on laser tracking and requires 2 AAA batteries for power. Intelligent Design also said that the mouse comes in two colors: white or black (under the titanium plating).
The Titanium ID Mouse requires Windows XP/Vista/7, or Mac OS X 10.3.5 or later.

Pffft....requires XP/Vista/7 or Mac OSX 10.3.5 and lack of common sense. $1200 for a mouse? I think not....my Logitech G5 is on it's 2nd or 3rd year running just fine. Not to mention a metal mouse would be really cold in the morning......
How do you handcraft titanium, it's titanium! I'll pass as ti costs half as much as my computer total

Well, you will make every morning "warm" enough already if you can afford this mouse.
Finally a mouse that can survive being run over by a truck, you have no clue how many mice I have lost cause of rogue trucks!
$1200. hahahahaha. I would say what I think of that, but this is public forum and such language should not be used in public.

Ugh! Thats the worst! I hate it when that happens...
But can it run crysis?
I'm surprised it doesn't have an apple symbol on it.
$1200, hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
Anyone else find it humorous that a $1200 mouse is made by a company called Intelligent Design?
Suddenly Razer's products seem reasonable.
No thanks..
But whats the DPI?
$1200 and it can't even have lithium ion battery? it should require no battery and gets power from either USB or skin oil. It then should be able to recognize brain wave in case the person isn't capable of touching the mouse.
$1200. What. A. Rip. Off.
wow $1200 and only 3 buttons, isn't rechargeable, and has some plastic parts on it.
sounds like a great deal!
...not
1200 bucks and it still takes batterys?...Wouldnt it have wireless power technology built in???
or at least I built in re-chargeable battery.Tis the least they could do for the suckers paying for that....Id rather build a whole new 1200 PC instead personally.
Lol i thought it said house! I'd get a house for 1200 if it was big enough

Well all the R&D costs went to the famous Japanese designer Naoki Tanaka so we couldn't afford to put better technology in it. But as a consolation the first 200 units will be personally signed by Maestro Tanaka himself. The cable of the receiver unit is made of braided top quality Camel Hair from Ethiopia. If we will sell enough units of this mouse we will upgrade the hardware to something more appropriate in the next generation.
Thank You for your interest

Save the camel, lol. I'd get 10 razr mice instead of 1 of that ugly claw.
The worst part is the mouse is really ugly. I can see spending $1200 for any part of a computer, because we all do it anyway. Whether it be several hundred on a processor, or a case, or a video card, it's depreciating fast the moment you buy it. I've spent $400 on cases without even blinking, so a mouse that would last me the rest of my life for $1200 wouldn't be so bad, if I loved it. The same for the perfect keyboard. Things I interface with are more important to me than a processor, since I rarely touch the processor, and when I do, the fan makes it unpleasant.
But, this thing is ugly. I don't want it at any price. Titanium is a really cool metal, and extremely useful, but it's not particularly pretty, nor is the shape. A stunning one made out of platinum, or gold, with a pleasing shape might do it. It wouldn't sell to a lot of people, but these products don't have to. But, this thing is just ugly. Why would anyone want it even if it were selling for half, ooops, 1/100 of the price?
the real question is...can it play crysis?
Intelligent ? what part of this company or mouse is Intelligent. sure i wipe my ass with 100$ bills why not i got $1200 to blow on >< one things for sure this company is not Intelligent
LOL
lol, they want $1200 for an ugly ass mouse? How is that thing worth $1200? Its not...
Looks uncomfortable, wouldn't spend 1200$ for a mouse, do they have a market for those? Damn ultra mega rich elite. I had to scrape together money and wrap coins together to buy my new rig.
This mouse damn well better be able to play crysis for $1200!
I will stick with plastic....
Because, ya know, Titanium is the new black.
I got old roller ball mice that still works from the 90s.
I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if they don't sell a single one of these ridiculous pancaked pacman looking POS's
This mouse would go perfect with that "candy corn" computer!
