Logitech Launches Creepy Ad for Google TV Box
Aren't you supposed to watch the TV, and not the other way 'round?
Earlier this year, Logitech announced that it had teamed up with Google, Intel and Sony as part of the search giant's foray into the TV market. While Sony would provide televisions based on Intel CPUs, Logitech would supply wireless keyboards, remotes and set top boxes.
Logitech has just launched the third commercial for its Revue companion box and the general reaction has been one of slight discomfort. Aside from being just a little bit creepy in general, many across the blogosphere have pointed out that having a giant eyeball on a TV scare the crap out of a teenage girl in her bedroom probably doesn't do much to pacify those with concerns that Google already knows too much about us, or that online privacy isn't quite what they'd like it to be.
Check it out below and let us know what you think of the commercial!
[Update] Have added the other three commercials in the series.
[Update 2] Oh, dear. It looks like Logitech has gone and removed the video from YouTube altogether. Perhaps they realized it wasn't the cleverest approach to advertising Google TV?

Creepy. First video was removed btw.
This will go perfect with my apartment in Silent Hill. I can't find a technician who will come out and install it for me though
look up the grapist, its almost as bad.
wow water prof TV!!!!!!!
Creepy but kinda funny.
Looks like part 3 got censored because it is truly tasteless.
WTF? I am now totally creeped out, very confused, and tempted to bolt my TV to a solid object.
OMG. Creepy at it's best..
... the all seeing eye... appropriate for google tv...
OMG, I don't know that's worst, if the moving tv or the family having breakfast in 4 different worlds apart from each other..
And what's up with watching tv anyway? TV misses you?? wtf?
Gosh... it's scary how much importance they give to TV.
If my tv did that Id set it on fire
doesnt that remind you of the twilight zone?
....Yeah, they could've have chosen better commercials. But then on the other hand, it's gotten the internet talking about the new product. Just look at this article.
ewww, why'd they use creepy man legs? It should be more feminine or something lol.
The 4th one was awesome. xD
Lol ... I stopped watching TV 7 years ago.
Too mind-numbing and boring.
Most of the news and information I get online, and if there's a rare show that has a shred of cleverness or intelligence, then I will simply stream it from the net.
For anyone who
For anyone who
Erm - why did that submit without me pressing a button?
What I was going to say:
For anyone who didn't see part 3, it's currently available here:

so tvs are going to be another version of a PC. like macs.
Not creepy, but very well made..
More of the same plz
I was liking it
I can't help but wonder how giant, successful corporations who go out and spend millions of dollars researching advertising can come up with such stupid fuckin' commercials. Seriously. They sat around at a big board meeting tossing out ideas, and the one they picked is... this?
That said, part 4 wasn't bad. XD But the other 2 were just retarded. Not to mention obnoxious.
They aren't even sending a good message. They aren't giving customers any reason to want the product. They're just saying "Buy our shit cuz it's been too long since you've used your TV." Basically.
Lonely TV (part 2) is sad. Part 4 is funny.
Not creepy at all. On a hardware note, let's hope these things aren't as cheaply made as the rest of Logitech's hardware. Plasticplasticplastic FTL.
If my tv did that Id set it on fire
It would just jump in the pool, since it's waterproof it seems.

I like my Logitech stuff, been using this keyboard and mouse (both wireless and Logitech) since 2003 and they work perfectly, this is with MANY drops and falls and 3 moves.
now that's funny right there, I don't care who you are
it definitely sparks my interest
I had cable. Back then, I paid for lots of channels wich had nothing interesting.
For the really interesting tings, I was supossed to pay even more.
I forgot about TV.
Whatever they're trying to do here, it doesn't work, creepy or not.
You're welcome. Wait, what company are you, again?
