CeBIT: Specs on Asus Eee Pad MeMO Confirmed
The Asus Eee Pad MeMO tablet is current strutting its stuff at CeBIT 2011, revealing hardware specs and an additional remote control.
During CeBIT 2011, Asus revealed the specs of its upcoming Android-powered Eee Pad MeMO tablet via a displayed product sheet. The device will reportedly cost around $690 for the 8-16 GB model and around $965 for the 32-64 GB model, and will even include a Bluetooth remote control.
According to the sheet, the tablet will sport Google's new Android 3.0 "Honeycomb" operating system and feature a 7-inch WSVGA (1024 x 600) TFT capacitive touchscreen. Also under the hood is the 1.2 GHz Qualcomm MSM8260 processor, 1 GB of SDRAM, eMMC flash storage from 8 GB to 64 GB depending on the model, a 5MP camera and a 1.2MP camera, a built-in stylus and Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR.
The Android tablet will also include quadband HSPA+ support, WiFi b/g/n, a microUSB port with HOST support, 1080p HD video playback @ 30fps, a 4400 mAh lithium battery (promising up to 8 hours of video or music playback), a microSD card slot, a microHDMI port, and jacks for headphones and microphones. The tablet's overall dimension is 196.5 x 116.8 x 11.5-mm and weighs around 389.16g.
As previously mentioned, the tablet will have an additional Bluetooth remote control, allowing the user to answer phone calls made directly to the tablet (which beats holding up the 7-inch device next to your ear). The handset also features a transparent display, according to hands-on reports.

And people rag on Apple for charging more for a little bit of extra Flash memory.
This tablet is too expensive, especially the 32/64GB version.

Better take my camera.
Last year they had a Nvidia gaming system, this year all the small gadgety stuff is here, so you can probably bet there's going to be more than this shown off
