Revamped user interface incorporated into device.
Amazon has released a software update for the Kindle Touch that incorporates Paperwhite features in the device.
New features constitutes of a revamped user interface where users' archived books and magazines will be stored under the heading Cloud. Enhanced parental controls has also been integrated.
The book cover view in a user's library and store is included, as are recommendations and improved ability to handle graphic novels and comics through allowing users to read panel-by-panel.
The update also introduces Whispersync for Voice to the Touch; the component enables users to switch between reading a Kindle book and an Audible audio book without losing your place.
Among the new features is the sample-to-book upgrade and Amazon's Time To Read feature, which notifies users exactly how long it'll take to finish a chapter and the book itself based on how quickly one reads.
