Play.com states that Kinect's field of view is 57 degrees horizontally, 43 degrees vertically. The site puts the physical tilt range at ± 27 degrees and points to a depth sensor range of 1.2m – 3.5m. Resolution is pegged at 320x240 16-bit depth at 30 fps; 640x480 32-bit colour at 30 frames per second; and 16-bit audio at 16 kHz.
We also know a little bit more about how many people Kinect can track. Play.com reports Microsoft's motion-sensing peripheral can track up to six players but can only deal with two active players.
