With the holidays just around the corner, the likelihood of getting a new PC or gaming console is imminent. But you can't just connect your brand-new PS5 to any TV and expect the best-looking picture quality. That's where this Mini-LED TV comes in with incredible picture quality and features that make it the optimal choice for gamers this holiday season.
Right now, you can get the 65-inch Hisense U75QG Mini-LED TV for $729 at Amazon. That's the lowest price we've seen for this TV, knocking it down to well under $1,000 even in the wake of Black Friday and Cyber Monday. The Hisense U75QG is a great mid-range Mini-LED if you're looking to get ample gaming performance and features on a budget. It's a better-performing TV than others in its price bracket, thanks to its absurd brightness metrics, and it offers many of the same features found on higher-end Mini-LED TVs. Gamers are likely to squeeze the most value out of the U75QG, as it's loaded with a slew of enhancements, including VRR, ALLM, and a 165Hz refresh rate.

If you're one of the proud new owners of a PS5 or PS5 Pro, the Hisense U75QG is a stellar bargain to match the performance of your gaming machine. It's well-equipped to deliver impeccable picture quality in HDR and fast-paced gaming, offering all the main advantages you might want to see, including VRR, ALLM, and a full set of HDMI 2.1 ports.
I tested the U75QG earlier this year and was blown away by its picture quality. While it doesn't quite match the U8QG in metrics, I personally find it to be a better overall value, given the price-to-performance and features it offers. The primary aspect that distinguishes the U75QG from Hisense's flagship is its full range of HDMI 2.1 formats. Hisense decides to give the U8QG three ports and a USB-C video input.
On the brightness front, you won't have to worry too much about reflections getting in the way of your content. Not only is the U75QG equipped with an anti-glare coating that tamps down reflections, but it also offers some of the highest brightness tested in our labs all year in both SDR and HDR, measuring 2,222 nits and 3,338 nits, respectively.
Although I do think it's a superb display for console gaming, particularly with the PS5, it's clear the U75QG is built to be a PC workhorse. It's equipped with a 165Hz refresh rate, an ultra-low 9.8ms of input latency, and FreeSync Premium Pro, which gives AMD users improved gaming smoothness. You can even dial the refresh rate up to 288Hz in 1080p if you need a little extra headroom.
Even if you're not into gaming, the U75QG is built to be a remarkable screen with Mini-LED backlighting. There are minimal compromises despite its lower price, and given that it's well under $1,000 right now, this makes the U75QG an absurd bargain, whether you're looking for a solid gaming TV or an HDR powerhouse.
