Amid the flood of early Black Friday deals on TVs, laptops, and phones, it’s easy to overlook the practical upgrades that truly benefit your workflow, mood, and body. As someone who tests and reviews the best office chairs for a living, I know all too well how people overlook this key home office upgrade which is why I’ve highlighted the best deals I’ve found so far in this year’s sale.

While you won’t find a high-end Herman Miller or Steelcase chair at a steep discount, there are plenty of other great budget and mid-range chairs on sale right now. In fact, the most expensive chair I’ve featured below is the Branch Verve Chair for $509. Not only does it have a very cosy knit 3D back and come in a variety of colors including some you won’t find anywhere else, it’s also my top pick for the best office chair overall, now available for $100 off.

On the other side of things, Eureka Ergonomic has slashed the price of its Cyra mesh office chair by 62% and you can pick one up for just $142 right now. I’d act quickly though if you’re interested in this chair as it’s selling fast. There are plenty of excellent ergonomic office chairs on this list with mesh backs, headrests and all the features you’d expect like lumbar support, 4D armrests and more.

That massive 100-inch TV might seem tempting, but a supportive and comfortable office chair is a long-term investment in your health and well-being you won’t regret. These are the absolute best Black Friday office chair deals I've found so far, and I'll be updating this guide throughout the biggest shopping event of the year.

Quick List

Black Friday office chair deals

Eureka Ergonomic Cyra
Price Drop
Eureka Ergonomic Cyra: was $375 now $142 at Amazon

This deal makes this ergonomic office chair a real steal which is probably why it’s selling so fast. The Cyra has a mesh back and headrest, a padded seat cushion, 4D armrests and a maximum tilt angle of 145 degrees. However, it’s the lockable adaptive dynamic lumbar support that really stands out to me at this price. Not only does it move with you as recline but you can adjust its height and lock it in place too.

ProtoArc EC200
ProtoArc EC200: was $229 now $179 at Amazon

This is ProtoArc's second ergonomic office chair and it gives you the best of both worlds with a mesh backrest and headrest and a high-density foam seat cushion. You also get adjustable lumbar support around back, 4 recline positions and adjustable seat depth. While we haven’t reviewed this one yet, in our ProtoArc EC100 review, we hailed it as a budget chair with advanced ergonomics. The EC200 builds on that solid foundation and with this deal, it’s even cheaper than the EC100 at full price.

Sihoo M57
Sihoo M57: was $239 now $179 at Amazon

This ergonomic office chair from Sihoo gives you all the features you’re looking for at a fraction of the price. It has a full-mesh design with an airy backrest and seat, adjustable lumbar support you can move up, down and towards or away from you and 4D armrests. One thing you don’t usually see on a chair this price is a waterfall edge which helps relieve tension on the back of your thighs while improving circulation and it’s more comfortable overall.

OdinLake L1
OdinLake L1: was $349 now $256 at Amazon

This all-mesh, ergonomic office chair from OdinLake is another good option to help keep you cool while working that also packs in a lot of useful features. From seat depth adjustment to its active lumbar support mechanism, you’re getting quite a lot of bang for your buck here. One thing that stood out to me when I reviewed the OdinLake Ergo Butterfly 753 that this chair also has in common is its wider headrest. Likewise, its mesh seat can support up to 350 pounds.

Branch Ergonomic Chair

If cool colors and ergonomics are what you’re after, look no further than one of Branch’s ergonomic chairs. This was the first one from the company I tried and despite its simpler look, you’re getting plenty of adjustment points, a mesh back to keep you cool, a lumbar support mechanism and a comfy seat cushion. Although the all-black version of the Branch Ergonomic Chair is the most discounted for Black Friday, for an extra $25, you can get this chair in orange, light blue and a bunch of other colorways that really pop if you don’t want just another boring office chair.

Sihoo Doro C300 Pro

This futuristic looking ergonomic chair from Sihoo takes things up a notch with 6D armrests that can also tilt upward which is great for when you’re reclining, very comfortable mesh, adaptive lumbar support, a wider seat and more. I haven’t tried the Pro model yet but in my Sihoo Doro C300 review, I praised its eye-catching design and how its arms attach to the chair’s frame instead of to its seat cushion. If you want a full-featured, all-mesh ergonomic office chair for less, this one is certainly worth considering.

Hon Ignition 2.0

This mid-back task chair is available in some unusual colors too but only the sleek, all-black model is on sale right now. It features a mesh back with a comfy seat, adjustable lumbar support, synchro-tilt recline where the armrests move back with you and seat depth adjustment. In my Hon Ignition 2.0 review, I highlighted how its adjustable lumbar support helped me sit upright with good posture for longer and I found its contoured seat to be quite comfortable too.

This all-mesh ergonomic chair has a sleek yet subdued look to it which helps it blend in easily with the rest of your home office decor. It features an extra-large, curved headrest that’s also adjustable, adaptive lumbar support, 3 recline positions and smooth as well as silent casters at its base. In our Autonomous ErgoChair Pro review, our reviews editor Peter Wolinski called it a “fantastic chair to prevent or soothe minor pain and correct posture.”

This model builds on Branch’s previous ergonomic chair by adding even more adjustment points. However, it also adds 5D armrests, a firmer seat, a removable lumbar support and has a smoother recline. One standout feature is its forward tilt which lets you adopt an active posture when you’re engaged in the task at hand. In our Branch Ergonomic Chair Pro review, we called it the “perfect combination of ergonomic adjustments and comfort.”. Like Branch’s other chairs, it’s also available in a wide variety of colorways too.

This ergonomic office chair is designed from the ground up to support your back. It features an all-mesh design, an adjustable headrest, 3D armrests, a 140 degree recline, adjustable seat depth and adjustable backrest height. However, its elastic lumbar support is the stand out feature. Not only does it wrap around your entire back, it alone has 8 adjustment points so you can truly lock in the perfect fit for your body while ensuring ideal posture.

Branch Verve Chair
Editor's Choice
Branch Verve Chair: was $649 now $509 at Amazon

This high performance executive office chair is an all-time favorite of mine thanks to its unique design. Instead of a mesh backrest, it has a 3D knit one that’s still breathable but also very comfortable. In my Branch Verve Chair review, I loved how this chair stands out as much from the front as it does from the back thanks to its unique V-shaped design. Like Branch’s other chairs, this one is also available in a number of different colorways, though the all-black version is the most discounted right now.
