Tom's Guide Approved - Sponsored Offer from Binge
Binge is down to just AU$2 for Black Friday – here are 6 shows I'd watch to get more than your money's worth
Binge the best of Binge for less than a bag of chips
As an entertainment writer, I can 100% confirm that streaming services are becoming increasingly expensive these days. Thankfully, there are still occasionally some great deals to be had, with Black Friday in particular often being a fantastic time to try a new platform, as some of our top-rated streaming services are offering limited-time discounts on subscriptions.
Homegrown Aussie streamer Binge has just unlocked a once-in-a-blue-moon deal across all three of its plans. From right now until December 8, 2025, new and returning Binge subscribers can sign up for the subscription of their choice — either Basic, Standard or Premium — for just AU$2 for the first month. That's up to AU$20 of savings on offer!
Binge Premium subscription | AU$2p/m (for 1 months, then AU$22p/m)

Typically costing AU$22p/m, this Binge Black Friday deal slashes AU$20 off the Premium plan, bringing down this highest tier to just AU$2. For this cheaper-than-chips fee, you can access all of Binge's content catalogue and stream across four screens in up to 4K resolution. Plus, this tier is totally ad-free, meaning you can binge-watch your favourite Binge shows and movies without interruptions.
Don't need four screens? You could also consider a Binge Standard subscription, which offers simultaneous 4K streaming to two devices and is also down to just AU$2 for 1 month. Or if you're fine with watching some ads, the Binge Basic subscription offers one screen in HD.
After the deal ends, the Premium subscription will return to AU$22p/m, Standard will be AU$19p/m, and Basic returns to AU$10p/m ongoing. That's not all — Binge has become home to a wealth of great Aussie content. From original shows to live sporting events and news channels, and everything else in between, there's a lot of quality programming to catch on Binge. I've handpicked six of the best shows that I think are worth watching on Binge immediately – five of which are Australian, plus one of my absolute favourite shows of 2025, The Paper.
The Paper (Season 1)
Arguably the top bingeable show of 2025 is this entertaining workplace mockumentary from the creators of The Office. The show focuses on Domhnall Gleeson's character, Ned Sampson, as he becomes the new editor of a struggling newspaper, the Toledo Truth Teller, and its ragtag employees. Like its predecessor, it offers sharp satire, heartfelt moments, and a fresh perspective on the changing journalism landscape.
All Her Fault
I've not had the chance to watch it yet, but this new original series has garnered some positive reviews from both viewers and critics online. In All Her Fault, Marissa Irvine (Sarah Snook) arrives to pick up her son from a playdate only to find a stranger at the door – and her child missing. The drama unfolds in a seemingly safe suburban setting, where trust quickly erodes and secrets surface.
Colin From Accounts (Seasons 1 and 2)
A Binge Original, Colin From Accounts is set in Sydney, and follows two singles, Ashley (Harriet Dyer) and Gordon (Patrick Brammall), who are brought together by a car accident and an injured dog they name Colin. Season two of this hit show was released in May last year, but Binge has confirmed it'll be back for season three soon (hopefully in 2026 🤞).
The Twelve (Seasons 1-3)
Starring Sam Neill, this critically acclaimed Australian series follows Neill as Brett Colby, a judge wrapped up in different murder trials across the nation. In the most recent season, things get personal for Brett after he’s thrust into a murder trial to defend the husband of a lifelong friend accused of a heinous crime.
Mix Tape (Limited Series)
Jumping back and forth between their teenage romance in Sheffield, England and the modern-day reality of their adult relationships, Binge's original series Mix Tape follows Daniel (Jim Sturgess) and Alison (Teresa Palmer), now living on opposite sides of the world, as they reconnect through a song from their shared past.
The Last Anniversary (Limited Series)
Based on a novel by Australian author Liane Moriarty, The Last Anniversary peels back the layers of a unique family tree, exposing that nothing is what it seems on the surface. Scribbly Gum Island is a place of many secrets. The one that made it famous – the disappearance of a young couple decades ago – might have made the island a popular destination for true-crime tourists, but when it comes to secrets, the three generations of women that call it home hold far more. When Sophie Honeywell (Teresa Palmer) mysteriously inherits a house on the island, it’s the fresh start she’s been craving, despite the unwelcome reception she receives upon arrival.
