Prime Video is one of the best streaming services on offer for movie lovers. Amazon's streamer offers a solid library of movies that's almost always being refreshed, though that amount of choice can be a blessing and a curse — how do you actually settle on your next watch?

This week, Prime Video added this brand-new crime thriller from Bart Layton, and if you missed it in theaters, now's the perfect time to catch up on "Crime 101." It's a solid, slick thriller, and you don't just need to trust my take on it, either: it came third in our poll asking readers to choose their favorite movie of the year so far.
The film follows an elusive master thief (Chris Hemsworth) who plans and executes robberies along LA's 101 freeway. We join him as he's on the cusp of the score of a lifetime, and he crosses paths with a disillusioned insurance broker (Halle Berry) and the lone detective (Mark Ruffalo) who has been pursuing him relentlessly.

'Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning' (2025)
I reviewed "Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning" for Tom's Guide last summer, and while it didn't earn a perfect review from me, and I stand by my criticisms, I think the movie's jaw-dropping stunt sequences mean "The Final Reckoning" is nevertheless deserving of a spot on this list.
Ethan Hunt's (Tom Cruise) final outing picks up after the events of "Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning" and sees him and his IMF team continuing the fight to try and prevent the rogue artificial intelligence known as "The Entity" from destroying human civilization as we know it.

'The Menu' (2022)
If a death-defying action movie's not what you're after, maybe Mark Mylod's horror "The Menu" will match your viewing tastes instead?
This dark, comedic watch follows a young couple, Margot (Anya Taylor-Joy) and Tyler (Nicholas Hoult), to a coastal island where they're about to spend an evening enjoying a lavish spread prepared by the famous Chef Slowik (Ralph Fiennes)... but it soon becomes clear that Slowik has some surprises in store for his guests, and what follows is a thoroughly entertaining, claustrophobic ride boasting a great lead performance from Anya Taylor-Joy.
