Everything new on Apple TV in January 2026
This month’s lineup includes new seasons of 'Hijack,' ‘Shrinking’ and more
It's almost 2026, if you can believe it! Where has all the time gone? A new month and a new year mean a fresh reason to check in with Apple TV, and there's plenty more on the streamer's plate to gobble on as we settle into January.
Leading the charge is "Tehran," which raises the stakes yet again as Tamar’s fight for survival grows more dangerous and unpredictable. From there, "Hijack" delivers another thriller of a crisis where every decision counts, while "Drops of God" deepens its globe-spanning mystery with the search for a legendary wine.
On the lighter side, "Shrinking" continues to balance humor and healing as its characters stumble forward together, and "Yo Gabba GabbaLand! brings color, music, and fun for younger viewers and nostalgic parents. Looking for what to queue up next? Keep scrolling for a closer look at what’s new on Apple TV this January.
'Tehran' season 3
Season 3 of "Tehran" continues the story of Tamar Rabinyan (Niv Sultan), a Mossad hacker-agent stranded in Iran after her mission spiraled out of control. Following the events of season 2, Tamar is on her own, cut off from official support and dealing with some significant loss. With threats all around her, she has to rely on her instincts and technical skills to stay alive in a city where mistakes basically mean death.
Tamar also works to regain Mossad’s trust while dealing with some changing alliances and shaky relationships. This season, a few familiar faces will return as well, including Shaun Toub and Shila Ommi, alongside new ones who end up pushing the stakes higher for Tamar and everything she stands for.

‘Hijack’ season 2
"Hijack" once again drops viewers into another real-time crisis, this time on a Berlin train taken over by armed hijackers. With the train full of bystanders underground, police above-ground work to prevent a catastrophe: the mass casualties of everyone aboard the train.
Get instant access to breaking news, the hottest reviews, great deals and helpful tips.
That puts Sam Nelson (Idris Elba) at the center of the chaos while he works to figure out a way to free the trapped train passengers and negotiate a way out for everyone. It's another tense set of episodes that will undoubtedly culminate in Nelson saving the day, but at what cost?

‘Drops of God' season 2
"Drops of God"'s second season reunites Camille (Fleur Geffrier) and Issei (Tomohisa Yamashita) as they face their most dangerous test yet: finding the true origin of the world’s greatest wine. The mystery defeated even their father, Alexandre Léger (Stanley Weber), and now draws the siblings into a global search that stretches across countries, cultures, and history itself.
But it's not all without sacrifice and pressure. Camille feels herself beginning to fold while she and Issei wonder how much further they can go while pursuing the mystery. Though it's unclear how much more they can take, one thing will always be true for them: They're incredibly close siblings who can take on the world.

‘Shrinking' season 3
The third season of "Shrinking" follows grieving therapist Jimmy Laird (Jason Segel), whose off-kilter approach to his work often changes his patients’ lives and his own. This time around, the series' focus shifts toward what it means to move on after loss, though there aren't many further details as to what to expect at this time.
Jeff Daniels is set to return as Jimmy’s father, and Michael J. Fox will appear in a notable role opposite Harrison Ford’s Paul Rhoades, while Cobie Smulders and others are headed back to the series as well.
