You don’t have to wait for Labor Day for the iPad Air to go on sale. Currently, Apple’s latest Air tablet is on sale at several retailers, making this a great time to either purchase an iPad for the first time or upgrade from an older model.
You can now get the iPad Air 11-inch M3 for $449 at Amazon. That's one of the best Amazon Labor Day sales I've seen. This entry-level iPad Air typically retails for $599, so this deal is saving you $150. While the current iPad Pro M4 features an OLED panel and a beefier M4 chip, the iPad Air M3 is still a fantastic choice for anyone looking for one of the best tablets.
The iPad Air M3 features stellar M3-powered performance, a vivid 13.6-inch display and useful Apple Intelligence features in the same thin and light design we’ve come to expect. While this tablet has pricey peripherals and isn’t a major update to its predecessor, the iPad Air M3 is easily one of the best tablets you can buy.
The iPad Air M3 is our new choice for the best iPad you can buy. In my iPad Air M3 review, I gave it 4.5 out of 5 stars, which is a nearly perfect score. Sure, it’s not a huge upgrade over its predecessor, but it's an incredible device that can do almost anything you’d want from a tablet.
As its name suggests, this is a thin and lightweight tablet that’s easy to carry around wherever you go. Measuring 0.24 inches thick and weighing just 1.05 pounds, you’ll barely even notice it in your backpack.
The biggest update to the latest iPad Air is the M3 processor. The chip packs an 8-core CPU, a 9-core GPU, and a 16-core Neural Engine. This configuration also has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Thanks to these specs, this iPad Air has enough power for tasks like web surfing and even some gaming. In our testing, we ran multiple apps and tabs simultaneously without any slowdown.
Apple’s M3 chip also lets you access several Apple Intelligence features, such as removing unwanted objects from photos. Apple Intelligence can also rewrite your messages and emails if you want to sound more professional, casual, or concise.
Toss in its sharp 12MP cameras and nearly 10-hour battery life, and the iPad Air M3 is one of the finest tablets you can buy—especially for this reduced price. We don’t know how long this deal will last, so I suggest you jump on it now before it ends or the stock runs out.
