Remember cassettes? Nothing certainly does, given that it smothered the Headphone (1) with a tape motif, hiding sneaky little easter eggs under characteristically transparent panels. The headphones underneath that slick and very unique design are an engaging option for anyone searching for their next set of cans. And they're now down to their lowest ever price — with Black Friday still weeks away.
In the U.S., you can pick up the Nothing Headphone (1) for $254 at Amazon, thanks to a 33% saving. That's a great deal on a relatively new pair of headphones. U.K. buyers are treated to an even better deal — you can buy the Headphone (1) for £199 at Amazon, in what is the biggest saving of the year.
The Nothing Headphone (1) are a much better buy at this price. It brings them far below the competition from Sony and Bose, while providing excellent ANC and customizable sound. 80 hours of battery is excellent as well. You'll need to be quick, though; this is a limited-time deal.
There's an even better deal on the Nothing Headphone (1) in the U.K.. The same comfortable headphones with good ANC and customizable sound are a whole £100 off for what could be the headphone deal of the year.
There's a lot to like about the Nothing Headphone (1). First is that sterling design, featuring lovely metal earcups and those wicked cassette panels that evoke a weird sense of nostalgia. The buttons are clicky and tactile, and the controls scheme one of the most well thought out in all of headphone-dom. A wheel changes volume, and a clicky paddle changes tracks.
They've got excellent ANC as well, blocking out absolutely buckets of noise. Transparency mode is similarly excellent, easily as good as the Sony and Bose options. They're great for your commute as a result, even packing down nice and small for their compact protective case. No problems fitting this into your work backpack.
Out of the box, sound is a mixed bag. They're a bit dark for my taste, but you can change the profile in the Nothing X app with the extensive EQ settings. You can even share your EQ with other listeners, which is a nice touch.
80 hours of battery life is the cherry on top of a tasty cake. This price is one we've only seen once before — and this time it's a limited time deal. Better be quick!
