VIA And NVIDIA To Team Up On VN Platform Targeting Netbook And MID-type Products
Nvidia and VIA Technologies have recently signed a cooperation agreement which will see VIA’s C7 and C8 CPUs paired with IGP chipsets from Nvidia to form a new VN platform, according to sources at motherboard makers. The cooperation will enable the pair to target Intel’s nettop, netbook and MID (mobile Internet device) products.
