Sandra 2005 Arithmetic and Multimedia extensions tests show the appropriate performance gains for Alienware’s faster included processor. Once again we remind readers that Eurocom does offer faster processors as options.

Eurocom’s higher FSB800 is tied to faster DDR2-800 modules, compared to Alienware’s 667MHz configuration, so Sandra awards the Eurocom with a higher memory bandwidth score. These scores also show that neither system appears to take good advantage of dual-channel memory mode.
