The Three Winners of Power Challenge Contest

Late last month we launched a feature with an accompanying contest as part of our Tom's Guide Power Challenge.

Today we're proud to announce our winners and the prizes that they get to take home:

  1. First Prize: Clifton Howard (One ASUS 1201N Netbook, One P4400 Kill-A-Watt power monitor, Two Belkin Conserve Strips)
  2. Second Prize: Joe Trott (Two Belkin Conserve Strips)
  3. Third Prize: Greg Jareske (One Belkin Conserve Strip)

The point of the contest was to accurately guess: 1) How much electricity a certain group of household electronics used in a month, and 2) How much electricity would be saved for a certain group of electronics in a month if the Belkin Conserve strips were implemented to eliminate "vampire loads."
