Notebook Battery Suppliers To Raise Prices In Q1
With battery core supply remaining short and prices for the chief material cobalt continuing to rise, notebook battery module makers are expected to increase their quotes in the first quarter, industry sources said. Although Japanese and Korea battery core suppliers will ramp up their capacity in the second half of the year, supply will remain short in the meantime, the sources said.
