11. System Performance: Sysmark2002

We are only including Sysmark2002 here for the sake of completeness.

One thing is abundantly clear: The Blackbox-M11 has more than enough ATi and Intel horsepower under its TFT hood for everyday office tasks.

Battery Tests

At first glance, a direct comparison between the battery drains afforded by our three candidates, the Blackbox-M11, the Dell Inspiron 8600 and the Yakumo Q8M Power64 XD, doesn't seem to make much sense. After all, the Dell and Yakumo notebooks should enjoy a clear advantage over our Blackbox in the battery rundown tests, as they are built around mobile CPUs (Pentium-M and Mobile Athlon64, respectively).

Nonetheless, the times we determined through our tests should be able to give you an impression of how long an M11-notebook using a desktop CPU and featuring a wide-screen display will last on a battery.
