Both laptops offer a case-integrated receiver for a Bluetooth mouse connection, which means that an external mouse does not have to use one of the three USB ports.

The W5F provides an optical digital output and an Express Card slot.
Otherwise, the W5A and W5F virtually alike. This applies to the integrated high-resolution, swivel-arm based 1.3 megapixel Webcam, which you can also use to monitor the room in which your laptop resides. A pre-installed camera program may be configured to serve as a motion sensor.

An adjustable Webcam is integrated into the display.
To enable fast access to a microphone and camera during a video conference, the right side of the display frame also includes three integrated control buttons.

Fast start buttons for the camera are built into the display frame.
