Intel To Invest $500 Million In China

Beijing (China) - Intel Capital, the investment arm of processor-giant Intel, will invested $500 million into Chinese firms. The investment adds to a $200 million fund that Intel pumped into the country previously.
The company is celebrating ten years of Chinese investments and in a press release, Intel is highlighting two Chinese companies. Holdfast Online Technology develops gaming platforms for online and MMORPG games while Newauto Video Technology manufactures, sells and integrates video equipment for television stations in China.
Intel Capital was formed almost two decades ago and has invested $7.5 billion world-wide.
