A scanner, clock, pen holder, and paperweight in one
What happens when you mix washed metal aesthetics with Soprano-inspired naming? Why, the Helpa of course! Designed as a pen holder, scanner, and paperweight in one, is the Helpa concept perfect for the office?

A few more details to help you out: at least one panel swivels off to reveal storage for writing implements, while users can scan documents and convert them into text files by sliding the entire contraption over a piece of paper. On the side are USB and DC ports for data transfer and power respectively.

Last but not least, a digital clock adorns the top of the device. While the Helpa is supposedly made of aluminum, a lightweight metal, there's still enough heft to keep papers from flying away. Let's just hope designer Torsten Plate gave this baby its own battery and internal storage. Having to scan with the USB and power cables plugged in would make for a messy desktop.
