As the results show, what counts more than anything in this benchmark is CPU power and, to a lesser degree, graphics power. That's why the two notebooks with the Pentium 4 or Athlon64 CPU clearly lead the pack. The higher score of the Inspiron 8600 with ATI graphics compared to the model with an NVIDIA graphics processor can be explained particularly by the very fast hard drive (7K60).
