12. Far Cry, Patch 1.3

In Far Cry we use the demo "Cooler01," which takes place in the Cooler level of the game. We turn on Jack's flashlight to give the GPU more to think about while we have it cranking out polygons and textures at the "very high" detail setting.

Far Cry is another game that the G3 has a hard time with. It is playable at 1024x768, but don't be surprised if the graphics card hesitates during a game where there are many explosions, enemies, or any time there is a lot of action.

You can see from this graph that the MR9700, and even the MR9800, have a hard time with 4x AA and 8x AF.

is there a way to enter the bios and change the cpu speed on these computers?
