8. Soundgraph IMon
Early Soundgraph products have already achieved classic status. Using an infrared remote control, you can use them to run just about any desktop or notebook PC. The Knob version consists only of a USB receiver module, but the VFD package also includes a 5.25" front panel display module.
The iMon VFD also provides the hardware platform for the Thermaltake Media Lab and is used in numerous HTPC cases, including offerings from Silverstone, 3R Systems, and both of the Thermaltake cases mentioned in this review.
