1. Small But Strong

While on vacation, whether in a hotel or log cabin and are not alone, you may just want to share some music with your better half. Now a portable player with headphones usually only lets one, or at most two, people listen. Creative has come up with the idea of such a system, which stays compact, but gives good quality sound.

The TravelSound MP3 looks pretty smart in silver with its titanium micro drivers exposed. It has a base that opens out so it can stand and it takes up very little room. It will run on four AAA batteries which will let you listen to music for six hours, no less, though Creative has also provided for it to use mains power. The TravelSound MP3 has 128 MB of built-in memory, which can be extended with MMC cards, though these are starting to date now. Still, 128 MB already gives you about two hours of digital music in 128kbps.
