16. Battery Tests
We measured battery run-down times for three standard applications:
DVD playback:
We played a DVD video (Apollo 13) non-stop until the battery was empty.
Presentation:
We ran a presentation in an endless loop until there was no more juice.
Gaming:
This discipline is based on the 3DMark2001 SE demo.
We set the power scheme to "Portable/ Laptop" in all three tests.

The Lifebook S6120 lags behind in battery rundown time. That's no surprise, though: despite the smaller display of the Lifebook S6120, the Asus M2N wins the day with its mammoth battery (68 Wh instead of the 41 Wh of the Lifebook S6120). This does not detract one bit from the excellent performance of the Asus newcomer, however, big battery or not.
