Bluelounge Refresh: A Neat Way to Charge

Literally making your wall socket chargers useless

For hardcore techies: Bluelounge's Refresh looks like the perfect accessory for your gadget arsenal. It's basically a bin with a rubberized top designed to keep those messy cables neatly hidden from sight. Even better, Refresh allows users to never unpack their gadgets' respective chargers.

Underneath the rubber tray are five integrated cables, designed to juice up the (what else?) two iPods or iPhones, one micro USB device, one mini USB unit, and two USB-powered gadgets. That covers practically every contemporary smartphone and media player today, unless your favored manufacturer is kicking and screaming with their proprietary power ports.

As product pics show though, there's only enough space up top for around three gadgets. And with more gadgets nowadays conforming to that latest GSM micro USB charger standard, maybe Bluelounge should've been less obsessed with Apple?

In any case, the beauty of Refresh is that you can probably use USB adapters for those non-standard gadgets, and still keep things neat by cramming the additional cables underneath. The rubberized surface also provides a natural grip, keeping your precious devices from sliding off. Refresh comes in three colors (Jet Black, Polar White, Fresh Pink), and retails for $90. Maybe the online DIY community can come up with their own alternative on the cheap?
