Dark Horse Publishing 304-Page Valve Comic
Dark Horse is cramming Left 4 Dead, Team Fortress and Portal comics into a 304-page hardcover edition just in time for the holidays.
Valve Software fans looking for a little Steam-related material to read while on the road or on the toilet will receive a hefty 304-page gift from Dark Horse Comics on November 16. Called Valve Presents: The Sacrifice and other Steam-Powered Stories, the 9 x 12-inch hardcover tomb will feature comics from Left 4 Dead, Team Fortress, and Portal.
"For fifteen years, Valve has defined the cutting edge of video games," reads the product description. "Now, Valve joins with Dark Horse to bring three critically acclaimed, fan-favorite series to print, with a hardcover collection of comics from the worlds of Left 4 Dead, Team Fortress, and Portal. With over three hundred pages of story, Valve Presents: The sacrifice and other Steam-Powered Stories is a must-read for fans looking to further explore the games they love or comics readers interested in dipping their toes into new mythos!"
As the title suggests, the collection will be headlined by Left 4 Dead's The Sacrifice, a 4-part series which can be downloaded in PDF format here. Other comics likely to appear in the hardcover edition may be Loose Canon and WAR from the Team Fortress 2 website and the Lab Rat comic from Portal 2. There's no indication that there will be anything new in the collection, but stay tuned nonetheless.
Valve Presents: The Sacrifice and other Steam-Powered Stories will cost $29.99 when it hit shelves this fall.

There will be new content, the combined amount of TF2, plus the L4D and Portal comics is nowhere near 304 pages!!
I can't wait to take a look at the new stories
When are they going to release the 'Meet The Pyro video'?
L4D and perhaps even Portal make sense. They have a story behind them and can be interesting to see more of the storyline that the games did not show. But TF2? How does anyone expect to write a intriguing storyline from it? Don't get me wrong I love TF2 but other than perhaps short comical strips I don't see anything else that can be written for it.
Anyone else praying that they take this opportunity to throw in a little Half-Life 2 storyline to hint EP3? One can wish right?
Left 4 Dead, Team Fortress, Portal ... something's missing. -λ-
