Fire Burns for Three Hours at Apple HQ

Firefighting units from Santa Clara County, San Jose, Saratoga and Los Altos spent three hours extinguishing a three-alarm fire at Apple’s Cupertino headquarters last night.
According to the Associated Press, smoke was first reported at around 10 p.m. on Tuesday night, and the fire was contained by 12:30 a.m. this morning. Most of the fire was under control after an hour or so, with small fires in hard to reach areas burning until the early hours of this morning. It seems the fire was contained in one building and did not spread to any of the other five structures on the Cupertino campus.
Hal Rooney, deputy chief for Santa Clara County Fire, told the Mercury News that the fire may have started under an air conditioning unit on the second floor. Workers in the building first called in the fire afraid smoke in the area could be a fire on the roof of the building.
Senior Communications Dispatcher Rafael Salcedo says the fire was "not very big, but there is going to be a lot of smoke damage." More than sixty firefighters responded and all workers in the building were evacuated safely and work began shortly after to clear smoke from the building.
There’s no indication as to how much damage has been done, or how much it’s going to cost to fix it. Thankfully, no one was injured.

Genius.
I wonder if now they'll have special edition blackened iPods.
I heard on the news that this was a R&D building. They were also working on the air conditioning and the HVAC in the building which was supposedly what caused the fire.
What I've heard (from a fairly authoritative source) was that it was building 6, their IT department.
My guess is that an AC unit running after 10PM would hint towards computer cooling since nobody is working that late at night.
I wonder how many documents that could have been used in anti-trust cases against them were lost, not that Apple would ever do something like that, they are perfect afterall.
Lmao..I know some apple idiot had to be behind this..
This isn't news unless a video camera caught Steve Jobs and a few high ups burning a Windows PC in a cult ritual. If it doesn't involve some sort of Windows bashing séance I guess I just don't care.

I had to post this twice because after 15 minutes of refresh this website still isn't showing it. Sorry if it's displayed twice. I wish they would fix it.
