Angry Birds Hitting Windows Phone 7 on April 6
Angry Birds will hit the Windows Phone 7 app market in April.
It feels like some people regard Angry Birds as a classic, so it’s hard to believe there’s still a whole userbase out there that have yet to experience the addictive joy it brings. Hard as it may be to accept, it’s true, Rovio has yet to grace the Windows Phone 7 platform with Angry Birds.
All that’s going to change in a few weeks, though, as the WP7 version of the hugely popular game will launch on April 6 along with a few other choice titles. Microsoft’s Michael Stroh revealed that along with Angry Birds, users would be getting Doodle Jump, Plants vs Zombies, Hydro Thunder Go, Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode I and geoDefense.
Stroh also mentioned that all of the games will be Xbox Live friendly, which means achievements and leaderboards for all!

I just checked out Angry Birds for the first time and came away wonder how anyone can think it is an entertaining game. It seemed quite pathetic to me and has to be one of the dumbest games I have seen in my life. It just goes to show that sheep are easily amused.

I hear M Night Shyamalan has bought the rights to this for his new film - all in 3D of course. Oh yes, those angry, angry birds are going to feel like they are coming right at you {shudder}. It'll be the greatest thing since Airbender.
