Whether you want to maintain spotless floors, cut your chores in half, or simply want to put your feet up, the best robot cleaners are a game-changer. And if you don’t want to break the bank, you’ll be glad to know that our number one, cheap robot vacuum has just got even cheaper.

Currently, the TP-Link Tapo RV30 Max Plus robot vacuum is down to just $179 from $199 at Amazon. That saves you even more cash in your wallet, and is the lowest price I’ve seen so far for a decent robot vacuum and mop combo.

So if you want to clean smarter (not harder), this is one deal that I’d recommend you pick up. Here’s why it won’t be staying on the shelves for too long.

This 2-in-1 robot vacuum offers 5300Pa ultra-powerful suction, which is more than adequate to remove dust, pet hair, crumbs, and debris from hardwood floors and low-pile carpet. Boasting advanced features such as LiDAR navigation, it also offers three water flow options for its mopping function. Users can customize and schedule cleaning for specific rooms directly from their phone. Plus, its charging base also empties the vacuum (up to 60 days). For under $200, this is a great bargain.

What we love about the Tapo RV30 Max Plus

Voted number one in our best cheap robot vacuum guide, the RV30 Max Plus proves that you don’t have to spend a fortune on a decent robovac.

When our reviewer put the TP-Link Tapo RV30 Max Plus to the test around his home, he was super impressed with its overall performance. Despite its humble size, it performed well with basic cleaning, scoring top marks for sucking up debris like cereal and kitty litter on both carpet and hardwood floors. The robot also ramps up its suction on low-pile carpet to capture all the hidden dirt and grime.

And while the robot vacuum's mopping capabilities impressed, it is best suited for basic clean-ups, rather than removing tough, sticky stains.

The Tapo app is well-designed and is user-friendly to navigate the interface. Which came as a nice surprise, considering the app is built not only for robot vacs but for the entire range of TP-Link Tapo smart home devices.

Another handy bonus is its self-emptying dock, which automatically clears the dustbin after each clean. This debris is collected in a large, disposable 3L sealed dust bag, which typically holds up to 60 days' worth of dirt — saving you many trips to the trash can.

Just bear in mind that it does have a lower 5300 pa (compared to more premium models), so it may struggle with heavy-duty messes. However, for a robot vacuum at this price point, this is an excellent budget choice for daily use.

So if you want an affordable way to enjoy hands-free cleaning, this Tapo robot vacuum deal is a worthwhile investment.
