If you’re currently rocking a Huawei smartphone then there’s some good news to share — you’re eligible to participate in Huawei’s Carnival event. That means you’ve got plenty of chances to nab some impressive prizes, including the sleek new quad-cam-toting Huawei nova 9 smartphone.
You’ll need a Huawei smartphone with the latest version of the My Huawei app to kick things off. If you haven’t updated any apps in a while, you might still have the old version of the app called “Support.” If that’s the case, or if you’re not seeing the Carnival section in your My Huawei app, check out our step-by-step instructions to upgrade to the latest version of the My Huawei app, or follow the guide below:
Once that’s sorted, you should be able to see the Carnival event banner on the homepage of the My Huawei app. Click it, and you’ll be presented with all the information and rules you’ll need to get started.
The first thing you’ll want to do is join the event and start the Unboxing Challenge activity. This will create a special link unique to you, that you can share with friends and other people online. If you get five people to click your link, you’ll receive your first prize box.
Prize boxes can include anything from a special Black Friday discount code to a Huawei Watch 4, Band 6, or even the previously mentioned nova 9 smartphone. Once you’ve opened your first prize box you can carry on sharing your link and work towards unlocking more boxes, up to a maximum of 10.
In addition to earning enough clicks to open prize boxes in the Unboxing Challenge, there are also other activities that provide more chances to win a prize. These include the Check-in Task, Puzzle Challenge, Lucky Draw, and NEXT-IMAGE challenge, all of which can be found in the My Huawei app along with the rules of how to participate in each activity.
