Emerald Fennell's "Wuthering Heights" movie has arrived, casting Jacob Elordi and Margot Robbie as Heathcliff and Catherine Earnshaw in this new spin on the beloved Emily Brontë novel.
It's a dark adaptation, one that strays from the book and leans heavily on the forbidden feelings between those two leads. It's proven divisive — it's sitting at 61% from critics but 80% from fans on Rotten Tomatoes — but also drew plenty of viewers, having already pulled in over $80 million around the world within its opening weekend.
If you're hoping to watch "Wuthering Heights" from the comfort of your own home, we don't currently have a streaming date just yet, but I've still done my best to try and predict when we might be able to stream "Wuthering Heights" at home, both on Premium Video-on-Demand (PVOD) services and HBO Max. You can find my predictions below.
When is 'Wuthering Heights' coming to streaming?
At the time of writing, the only way to watch Emerald Fennell's "Wuthering Heights" movie is by heading to your nearest movie theater. The film was released on Friday, February 13, and won't be available to watch at home for a little while yet.
The first way you'll be able to watch "Wuthering Heights" at home will surely be via PVOD storefronts such as Apple or Prime Video. While we don't currently have a confirmed digital release date just yet, I'd guess "Wuthering Heights" will be available to buy/rent digitally in late March or early April.
That's assuming "Wuthering Heights" follows the usual home release pattern of Warner Bros. movies, which typically come to PVOD platforms around 30-45 days after they premiere (usually on Tuesdays).
That's roughly how long we waited for "One Battle After Another" (50 days), "Weapons" (33 days), "Superman" (36), and "Final Destination: Bloodlines" (33 days), so I feel confident assuming "Wuthering Heights" will follow roughly the same pattern.

As a Warner Bros. movie, we at the very least can expect "Wuthering Heights" to make its streaming debut on HBO Max; I'd expect the new "Wuthering Heights" adaptation to drop on HBO Max at some point in late April or May 2026.
That guess is, again, based on the fact that we typically wait around 70-90 days for Warner Bros. Pictures releases to come to the streamer. Case in point, Paul Thomas Anderson's "One Battle After Another" came to the stream on Dec. 19, 2025, 85 days after it hit theaters.
"Weapons" dropped on Oct. 24, 2025, 78 days after its August 8 theatrical debut, while James Gunn's DC blockbuster "Superman" came to the streamer on September 19, 2025, 71 days after David Corenswet's Man of Steel soared onto the big screen on July 11.
Given all three films dropped on a Friday, and assuming we'll wait around 80 days to stream "Wuthering Heights" on HBO Max, I'd guess at a potential May 1 or May 8 release. Of course, this is all speculation, as we do not have an official streaming date for "Wuthering Heights."
As soon as Warner Bros. confirms one, though, I'll be sure to share it here. In the meantime, be sure to check out our round-up of the best movies on HBO Max if you're looking for something new to stream right now.

If it’s in the theaters or available to stream somewhere, he’s probably watched it… especially if it has a dragon in it. Before joining the team, he was a Staff Writer at What To Watch where he wrote about a broad range of shows that stretched from "Doctor Who" and "The Witcher" to "Bridgerton" and "Love Island". When he’s not watching the next must-see movie or show, he’s probably still in front of a screen playing massive RPGs, reading, spending a fortune on TCGs, or watching the NFL.
