Yahoo Interested In Merger, Microsoft Not
Yahoo Chief Executive Jerry Yang said on Wednesday a potential deal with Microsoft has tremendous power, but the software giant appears no longer interested in a full merger. In his most public comments to date about his thinking on the four-month-old, on-again, off-again Microsoft merger saga, Yang signaled his company remained open to a potential deal, but said Microsoft had ruled out a merger for now.

It's hard to imagine how much more badly Yahoo could have handled this.
Yea, Yahoo blows. If anything Microsoft should buy them and just close em down. Salvage what might be useful and burn the rest. For gods sake at least take over yahoo email - they've got that royally screwed up.
They’ll wait for yahoo's shares to drop and then swallow them.

This is like watching a prostitute at a road side truck stop trying to get an overweight trucker to work out a deal. Yahoo search isn't good to start with. Google is another fools grab, at $184B. How is that even possible, this is a one trick pony just begging to be whacked. Something will go wrong, the not so free lunches will go away, anyone with a brain will jump ship. Wa Ha ha HA
