Sony's VAIO VGN-AX580G 17" notebook with Microsoft Windows MCE on-screen
The Sony keeps up the silver and black exterior theme that applies to all the notebooks we've looked at so far. Much like the HP, its top deck is a matte silver color, though the VAIO logo is tricked out in polished silver. Also like the HP, this surface will pick up smudges and fingerprints, but not as easily as the Fujitsu does. The entire bottom of the unit is made of tough black plastic with a matte finish, supported by only four feet instead of the six we've seen on the three prior units.
