Mobilemark 2005 Battery Lifetimes And Performance
Because of its fast RAM, the Thinkpad Z60m landed in second place for the Office Productivity performance test. This makes the Z60m a good workplace performer, with plenty of power to get the job done.
This notebook also did well in terms of battery lifetime - at least, as long as we used the 9-cell high-capacity battery in our test unit. The 6-cell standard battery cut battery lifetime by about one third and lowered the traveling weight by only about 4 ounces (less than 100 grams). Those who want to watch DVDs away from a wall socket should definitely buy a unit with a high-capacity battery.
