2. Skip The Tutorial, Read The Manual

There's a very short tutorial that will help you learn the basics, but unfortunately it doesn't really teach you everything you need to know. It focuses on where to find all the menus in the game and the extremely basic building concepts. It doesn't show you how to construct elevators properly, nor how the housekeeping and security elements really work, or even how to use the bulldoze option to remove areas of your tower, which is a bit more complicated than it sounds. Of course you can find this information in the game manual, but it just seems like a wasted effort to have an almost worthless tutorial.

Along the way, you will find a couple things that just don't feel quite right. For example, if you have an elevator between the first and fifth floors, housekeeping will sometimes be negligent about the second through fourth floors. Also, major disasters happen too often. You may get three or four bomb threats within the course of a half an hour of playing time. Trying to spice things up a bit PDAmill has included some charts and some in-game tips with critics telling you what you need to improve. These are nice additions and they help to round out the game a little bit.

Conclusions

There's not a whole lot in the way of amazing graphics or sound, but what the game gives you is adequate. It's certainly not one of the most impressive games available for the Pocket PC format, but it is a fairly good incarnation of the classic Sim Tower game.
